WHS Boys Basketball Coaching Update

Falcon Boys Basketball Families
While it is unfortunate that we are currently without a head coach so close to the June period when they can work with the players– the booster club was able to offer a program last this last year when this happened and we will do the same this year, all the while hoping the school is quickly able to find a great new head coach as quickly as possible.
As of this moment we are still working out the details, including talking to the assistant coaches to see how they are able to participate - but here is what you should expect:
- Open Gyms– The Thursday May 4th open gym will not be held. We will publish a revised schedule for May and June shortly as soon as we lock down school approved supervisors for these sessions.
- June Tournaments– we plan to participate in the tournaments outlined in the schedule last week
- Overlake league - depending on availability of coaches, we may need to scale back our participation in the Overlake league to 1 team
- Team Camp at CWU -- depending on availability of coaches, we may need to cancel or scale backour trip to the CWU team camp

We hope to have everything settled for Overlake and Team Camp within the next 2 weeks.
